Dear BSU Community,

I want to share an important update to our administrative structure to help enhance our operational effectiveness and foster greater cross-functional collaboration.

Effective August 1, 2025, the Division of Information Technology will be reorganized as the Department of Information Technology and integrated into the Division of Administration & Finance under the leadership of Vice President Manish Kumar. This strategic merger will allow us to better align our technological infrastructure, services and innovations with the university’s administrative, financial and operational priorities.

As part of this transition, Huron Consulting Services will continue to support the comprehensive assessment and provide oversight of day-to-day IT operations.

This realignment reflects our commitment to:

• Advancing operational excellence in service to our students, faculty and staff
