Dear Bowie State University Family,
Homecoming 2025 was a truly memorable celebration of our shared pride, spirit and legacy. The weeklong showcase of excellence and fun reflected the heart of our 160th anniversary year — honoring our past while celebrating the present and envisioning the future.
The success of this year’s Homecoming was made possible through the tireless efforts of the Homecoming Taskforce, the Homecoming Committee and the many students, staff, alumni, faculty and friends who came together to make each event special. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who played a part in bringing our community together in such an extraordinary way.
A special note of appreciation goes to the law enforcement agencies and campus safety teams who helped ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all throughout the week’s activities. Among the agencies that contributed were: Prince George’s County Police, City of Bowie, Maryland State Police and the FBI. Your professionalism and dedication allowed us to celebrate with confidence and peace of mind.
