Bowie State University Receives Grant for Displaced Federal Workers


Bowie State University has received a grant from the Maryland Higher Education Commission to help displaced federal workers transition into teaching careers. The funding will support the university’s Master of Arts in Teaching program and enable students to earn a master’s degree in elementary or secondary education. In addition, students can earn an ESOL certificate.
