Bowie State Professor Takes a Spin on Wheel of Fortune

(BOWIE, Md.) – In an exciting turn of events, Bowie State University's very own Assistant Professor of Biology Dr. Devyn Gillette, showcased her talents beyond the laboratory in an appearance on the popular game show, Wheel of Fortune scheduled to air at 7PM EST Friday, April 12th on ABC.   

Viewers across the nation will witness Dr. Gillette's moment in the spotlight as a scientist and educator showcasing her talents on a national stage.  

“The experience felt like a once in a lifetime moment. I was in awe the entire time” says Gillette who began watching the show with her grandparents.  “I was very excited about learning how the show is produced. Even just being in Sony studios in LA, and the little things that go into production were exciting from start to finish”.  

Dr. Gillette, a formally trained scientist and immunologist, brings her expertise from the lab to the game show stage, demonstrating her versatility and passion for knowledge in various realms. Her appearance on Wheel of Fortune highlights her dynamic personality and eagerness to engage in diverse experiences.
